Suspected drug dealers threw bags of cannabis from their balcony after police raided a flat in search of a wanted man.
Officers made two arrests as they raided the property at an undisclosed location in Bexley.
It came after an arrest warrant was granted by Woolwich Crown Court for a wanted male suspect.
According to an online post by Bexley MPS, a taskforce was deployed within two hours and was let into the flat by a female where they found the wanted man inside.
On entry to the property, “strategically positioned” officers outside the back witnessed plastic bags containing cannabis being thrown off the balcony.
Police arrested both the male and female suspects on suspicion of possession of a class B drug with intent to supply.
In a further twist, a man rang the intercom while police were searching inside and said he was there to buy cannabis.
He was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class B drug.
