Four charged after man 'stabbed' near Grange Road, Gravesend

Four suspects have been charged after a man was seriously assaulted.

The victim, in his 40s, was walking in an alleyway leading to a railway bridge near Grange Road, Gravesend, when he was allegedly stabbed.

He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable conditions.

The attack happened on January 27 at 1am.

On January 30, a teenage boy was arrested near Christian Fields Avenue after patrols were called to a report of a person acting suspiciously.

Officers also seized a quantity of class A drugs and a machete.

Two days later, investigators arrested two men and a woman at addresses in Gravesend.

On Wednesday (February 1), the Crown Prosecution Service authorised a charge of attempted murder against a 15-year-old boy.

He was also charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply and two counts of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

The boy, who cannot be named because of his age, appeared before Medway Magistrates' Court later the same day and will next attend a hearing at Woolwich Crown Court on March 2.

A charge of attempted murder was later authorised against 40-year-old Luke Samuel, 42-year-old Muna Fuggles and 18-year-old Tyler Lucock.

Lucock was also charged with possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

Samuel and Fuggles, both of Medhurst Crescent, Gravesend, and Lucock, of Taunton Vale, Gravesend, appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court where they were remanded until a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on March 2.

Detectives are continuing to urge witnesses to the incident near Grange Road or anybody with information to call the appeal line.

Motorists with dashcam and residents with private CCTV are also asked to check for footage that may assist.
