Campaigners took their concerns to health secretary Jeremy Hunt today.
A coachload of supporters from Concern for Health in in East Kent (Chek) travelled to Westminster to deliver a dossier on the state of emergency healthcare in east Kent.
They gathered outside the Department for Health with banners before meeting Mr Hunt for a half hour discussion.

After that they headed to Downing Street, where another letter and petition was delivered.
Joining the group was Canterbury MP Rosie Duffield (Lab) and Faversham MP Helen Whately (Con).
Ms Duffield said: “Well done to Chek for the work they are doing to secure the future of Kent & Canterbury Hospital.
“It means so much to our community.
"I am glad to have secured time in the Secretary of State’s diary to present him with Chek’s letter, and another opportunity to speak to him about the future of the K&C.”
