Man hurt in street attack

A MAN suffered a broken wrist and a possible broken nose in an unprovoked gang attack in Sittingbourne.

The 22-year-old and a friend, also aged 22, were leaving the town's train station just before midnight on Saturday 28 December when they were verbally abused by a couple of youths.

The youths were joined by a larger group and then chased the two men into an alleyway and then on to St Michael's Road where they were assaulted. The second man suffered a bruise to his forehead in the assault.

Descriptions were given for three of the attackers. The first is black, aged around 15 years old, five feet two inches tall, of medium build with short, black, curly hair. He wore a blue denim shirt.

The second youth is described as white, also around 15 years old, five feet three inches tall, medium build and with short, brown, curly hair. He wore a blue denim shirt and white zip-up top.

The third attacker is white, 15 years old, five feet two inches tall and stocky. He wore a dark blue hat and a light blue tracksuit top.
