Great British Bake Off finalist Ruby Bhogal may not have lifted the trophy last night, but she's bouncing back and visiting the county this weekend.
Ruby went into the final of the Channel 4 show with fellow finalists Kim-Joy Hewlett and Rahul Mandal last night.
After the final’s challenges of doughnuts, campfire cooking outside and making an edible landscape, Rahul was named the winner.
Now Ruby will visit Waterstones in Bluewater on Saturday, November 3.
She will be at the shopping centre signing copies of the official Bake Off book for this year, The Great British Bake Off: Get Baking for Friends and Family. It features recipes from the series, including recipes inspired by Vegan Week, and easy-to-follow recipes from Prue Leith, Paul Hollywood and the bakers.
Fans are advised to come early for the signing at noon to avoid disappointment and access to the queue will be on a first come first served basis.
Customers also need to have a copy of The Great British Bake Off: Get Baking for Friends and Family to meet Ruby.
Lead bookseller Wil Symons said: “As an avid Bake Off fan, I'm excited for Ruby to be signing in our shop. I can't wait to try cooking the vegan week recipes.”
