I’m A Celeb’s Babatunde Aléshé is bringing his stand-up tour, Babahood, to Canterbury and Dartford

Rising comedy star Babatunde Aléshé is returning to Kent on his first solo tour.

The Babahood tour is the first time the TV personality has taken his show on the road by himself, and he will be bringing the laughs to the Gulbenkian Arts Centre in Canterbury this month.

The tour, which is also coming to Dartford in February, sees the comedian talk about family, fatherhood and his rise to fame on reality television show I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.

He dropped into the Australian jungle from a 32-storey building last year and stayed there for 18 days alongside fellow campmates Jill Scott, Matt Hancock, Chris Moyles and Mike Tindall.

He competed in a number of trials, including dangling from heights and having creepy crawlies dropped on his head, and finished in seventh place.

I’m a Celeb isn’t the only time Babatunde has appeared on a reality show as he first became a familiar face for many viewers by taking part in Channel 4’s Celebrity Gogglebox.

He joined fellow comedian Mo Gilligan on the sofa and the pair shared their thoughts on the week’s TV moments.

The stand-up performer has also appeared on comedy shows such as House of Games, Rhod Gilbert’s Growing Pains and Comedians Giving Lectures.

Babatunde Aléshé will be at the Gulbenkian in Canterbury on Sunday, January 21. You can book tickets online here.

The comic will also be visiting the Orchard West theatre in Dartford on Saturday, February 10. You can book tickets here.

You can also book tickets to the Dartford show by calling 03433 100033.
