At Home With... North Kent actor and former EastEnders star Shaun Williamson and his life in lockdown

.

EastEnders, Extras, Celebrity Big Brother and Celebrity Mastermind, Maidstone-born actor Shaun Williamson may be known for his acting talents, but he's also putting his quizzing skills to use during the current restrictions, presenting the World's Largest Quiz Online. Here, he tells us about his life during the current pandemic for our feature, At Home With...

Who are you locked down with?

My wife, Adele.

What has been a typical day for you while staying at home?

There's a bit of cleaning and a bit of reading, but I am lucky that I can enjoy my own company and can entertain myself. I like to refresh myself ready for the World's Largest Online Quiz which I am hosting every week, for when we get filming, and I also do a lot of walking.

Which bit of your lockdown day are you enjoying the most?

It's the walk, definitely. I live quite near a nature reserve and the coast so I am enjoying the most. It reminds me how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful county.

Name one thing which has helped you get through the current crisis:

Zoom calls. I do them with my two children. They are both grown-up, but we have a set day every Friday and we raise a glass to what we call the worst house party ever. It's not the same as seeing them for real, but it's better than nothing.

What are you looking forward to doing most when lockdown ends?

Seeing my children... and the pub. I'll never take things like that for granted again.
